ComTrade Open Day Six

ComTrade Open Day 6 took place on 25.06.2008 in the premises of ComTrade Technology Center.

We accommodated students from technical faculties, attendants of “Real IT – Where Academia Meets Industry” course in the area of IT application, organized from 20-30th July in the Faculty of Electronics in Niš together with BEST-non-profit European organization of students of technology, also in Niš. This international group of 75 students had the opportunity to attend three lectures at Open Days 6. One was covered by our guest from Microsoft Development Center Serbia, Mr. Marko Panic - Manager MDCS, whereas the other two lectures were performed by our colleagues from Spinnaker, Mr. Oliver Nikolic - Senior System Engineer and Mr. Marko Dragoljević, Software Engineer.

BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organization. Since 1989 it provides communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe. 79 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in almost 30 countries are creating a growing, well organized, powerful, young and innovative student network. BEST strives to help European students of technology to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. Therefore it creates opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through our academic and non-academic courses and educational symposia. "Learning makes the master", but the final goal is a good working place. BEST-Nis, in 2007 went into the process of joining this organization. The goal of Local BEST Group – Nis is to become full member in order to provide all students in Nis free courses organized by other BEST local groups.
